Amazon appointed by Holocaust Memorial Day Trust

The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, the charity that promotes and supports Holocaust Memorial Day, has appointed us to handle media relations for next year’s events.

Holocaust Memorial Day, which has taken place in the UK since 2001, is a time for people to remember the millions murdered during the Holocaust, Nazi Persecution and in subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur. It is held on 27 January, the date Auschwitz-Birkenau was liberated.

We will be working with HMDT to raise awareness of Holocaust Memorial Day by generating national media coverage.

Olivia Marks-Woldman, Chief Executive of HMDT said ‘we were impressed by Amazon’s grasp of the sensitivities surrounding the issue of genocide commemoration, and their thoughtful and creative suggestions for how we can increase awareness of Holocaust Memorial Day in the UK’.
