Amazon supports Ovarian Cancer Action

The Amazon team is thrilled to be supporting Ovarian Cancer Action’s important fundraising work, having been appointed by the charity this month.

Ovarian cancer is the sixth most common cancer amongst women in the UK. There are around 25,000 women living with the disease, with 7,400 new diagnoses each year. Sadly, 4,100 women in the UK die each year from the disease.

We have been brought on board to provide PR and media support for the charity for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in March. Work includes delivering a storytelling campaign to help increase donations to fund the charity’s research.

Tori Watson, Ovarian Cancer Action’s PR and media manager, said: “We’re excited to work with Amazon as we take a new direction in communicating our work. We’re on a mission to fund research that saves lives but we can’t do it alone; Amazon will help us reach new audiences and supporters during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.”
