Helping JPF mark a double celebration

Helping JPF mark a double celebration

We are delighted to be working with the Jack Petchey Foundation again, this time to help them mark their 15th anniversary and their founder’s 90th birthday!

The charity, which supports young people in London and Essex through a range of projects, has asked us to help raise its profile nationally in this special year, which will see it hold its biggest ever event. ‘Ignite’, the Festival of Youth, will see more than 400 young people on stage at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in London, celebrating their talents and those of the thousands of young people whose lives are enriched by the Foundation’s work. The 15th anniversary also sees a range of new grants on offer for local organisations to apply for.

It is the third time we have worked with the Foundation. Its Chief Executive, Trudy Kilcullen, says “It has been good to be able to almost ‘pick up’ where we left off. The Amazon team have retained a great deal of knowledge and connection with the Jack Petchey Foundation so we have been able to focus very quickly on the core tasks and create a work plan that delivers what we want”.

Amazon has previously worked with the charity on its Listen Up project, aimed at giving young people a voice on a range of issues, and its 10th anniversary year.
