Amazon supports Kidscape’s Friendship Friday for a second year

Anti-bullying charity Kidscape brought us on board again to help raise awareness of their Friendship Friday campaign, which this year was held on the 9th November. Friendship Friday is Kidscape’s annual event which celebrates the importance of friendship, while raising vital funds for the charity.

The theme of this year’s Friendship Friday was Food for Friendship. We helped Kidscape promote the day on social media, engaging the support of Chef Ken Hom and Saturday Kitchen presenter Matt Tebbutt. We worked to engage different faiths through religious media, encouraging people to share a meal together. And we supported Kidscape with some corporate awareness raising, sharing the positive message of the charity within sector publications.

Kidscape does amazing things to help children grow up in a world free from bullying and harm, so we were delighted to work with them again!

Kidscape’s CEO Lauren Seager-Smith says:

“Through Friendship Friday we want to find ways to engage with communities and families who are not currently accessing our services but we know are vulnerable to bullying and harassment. We know that food is a great way to draw people together and were delighted to work with Amazon PR on establishing new ‘foodie’ relationships and reaching out into new faith communities for the first time. Amazon PR always bring a huge amount of energy and creative thinking to the table and have helped us to establish Friendship Friday in the calendar.”
