Amazon working with Book Aid International for World Book Day 2020

Amazon working with Book Aid International for World Book Day 2020

We will once again be working with Book Aid International ahead of World Book Day 2020, following successful PR support in previous years.

Book Aid International is the UK’s leading international book donation charities and one of World Book Day’s supported charities. Book Aid International offers young people the chance to learn, imagine new possibilities and shape their own futures by sending brand new books across the globe.

This year we will be encouraging schools and parents to host or take part in one of many of Book Aid’s fundraising activities, allowing the organisation to raise further funds to send books to those around the world that need them most.

Kathy Woolley, Head of Communications at Book Aid International, says:

“World Book Day is an amazing celebration and it’s great to be working with Amazon PR again. The media work allows us to raise our own profile and invites schools, pupils and parents to take part in the fundraising activities we support. By promoting these we are able to help more young people around the world access books that will enrich, improve and change their lives.”
